Wiki Offline — A Wikipedia Experience App Reviews

Bought the app opened it up and it shows a screen called language settings. There is nothing here and you cant do anything else. After restarting and re-downloading multiple times I get the same results. There website has been down for a week now and there is Norway to get support.

Ive used wiki off-line for the last couple of years. It worked well without any problems. Then in the last six months Ive found that installing it either on an iPhone or an iPad Air 2 it no longer works. It freezes frequently. Uninstalling it and its database and then reinstalling it has made no difference. It has become a big waste of money. By the way, theres no one at the publishers who can be contacted about this. They dont seem to care.

I initially liked this. Then all text disappeared have had to re-download and only get language settings screen with no options. Note that there has only been one upgrade, almost one year ago. That is the best sign of poor consumer support. Compare to other similar apps. Am deleting it from my device since it is now empty shell.

Was a great app but after 8.1.2 update, no longer works on iPhone or iPad. Just freezes at select dictionary page.

Stuck on language settings. Looks like another reviewer had same problem Dec 25th. Its Jan 16th now! Please fix!

Has not worked for weeks, stuck at language screen, developer recommends that we use Wiki Offline 2 if you have iOS7 or later, so checked that out.... You want me to pay another $10!!!! Ny the way the reviews on that app are just as bad!

The app has been quite unstable under iOS8. I wish theyd give it a little love.

I bought this app a few years ago and it worked fine. Now I updated to iOS 8, it doesnt work. They say that I have to buy a new version of it. The other apps just updated and redisigned for support with iOS 8 and its all, you dont need to buy a new app. Now I wont buy new version of this app, with iOS 9 theyll say that I need to buy another one for supporting new iOS.

Not support the language settings for farsi...crash and stoped for iphone 6 No font for Persian---Slow to Farsi very very bad for iphone6 and language farsi Please address the problem ...

It took the developer a long time, but finally the app has the iOS 7/8 look and feel and supports the iPhone 6. Thanks!

It never manages to download the English database (4.5 Gb). I have been trying for the last few days using 100mb/s wifi. Its simply pain in the ......

Stopped working on ios 7/8 - took them so long to update. Developers dont even respond to emails, even when it’s about inability to pay for an update. They just dont care. Terrible company. Careful about buying from them.

Company released a new version and broke this old version to force an upgrade for an additional $9.99 After many complaints and almost a year later, they unbroke this app. Purchase from this company at your own risk

Well I have had this for a few hours now and Im very pleased with it.

Its really great app, I will keep using that. wiki offline its wonderful. This app will give me a lot of knowledge. And offline is very cool. I like it very much.

This was a good app years ago, but now it is a shameless money grab. Emails go unanswered, downloads dont work. The dev is a cheat trying to make a quick buck off of people now. Save your money and spend it elsewhere! This guy does nothing to earn your business.
