For those in need of info on the go...Faaaaantastic!

I and my family are going to travel to different countries in Europe. I need some background info for each place that we are going to visit. Before, I would just go to a bookstore and spent $30 for a travel guide which is so heavy to carry. This time, I just spent about $10 for the app on my iPad and bookmark each city that we will go to see. Voila! I have all the handy info about the history, music, people, etc. on my hand. And I can use it again for another trip and for other purposes such as general reading & research, etc. Good job! Also, I just upgrade it with another language database for $.99. Great deal!

It used to work great on my iPod until I had to reinstall it. Now it crashes all the time the full database doesnt download articles in the list are not available. Very frustrating considering the time it takes to uninstall and redownload as well as the original investment.

Its an app that works great offline with most of the Wikipedia info. It however doesnt have accompanying pics, or an easy ability to search the document for keywords

I still find it hard too believe that I am carrying a snapshot of the worlds largest encyclopedia in my backpack. When I think back to the much loved and decades out-of-date encyclopedias of my youth, I can hardly believe my luck. This is one of the first apps I purchased for my ipad over a year ago. It has been reliable, intuitive and infinitely useful as a go-to source for whatever information I might need regardless of time and place.

I cannot download the file anymore after the upgrade. It just says, internet access needed when i am connected to the wifi. Please fix it as I have been using this for some time already before. I recently changed to iPhone 5s and have to re download but I am unable to.

I was just informed version 2 is now available and is optimized for IOS 7. Since I downloaded this app only 2 days ago and all my devices run IOS 7 I am a very unhappy customer of course. So I will simply delete the damn app, because Im not paying for an upgrade. Bah Humbug Avocado Hills

This is in my top 5 favourite apps. Its offline functionality is great, when online it shows images full screen. You dont have to think about which articles to save for reading later when you dont have a connection, you have them all on your device already. Amazing!

I love this app and have used it for years ... My iTouch wouldnt be the same without it.

I use this offline Wikipedia with IOS 9.1 on my iPhone 6S and my iPad Pro. It works well with both these devices.
